For Buyers.....
Register on the site and enter your details.
When you create a request for a quotation, the system searches the database for suppliers who meet the critera required.
Once the database has completed it's work, the results are then filtered, using a randomizing algorythm to ensure that all suppliers have an equal opportunity to receive requests for quotes.
Once the database has selected the potential suppliers, you have the opportunity to select all of the recommendations, or tweak the supplier list to suit your precise needs.
When the supplier has agreed to quote for the work
You are then immediately notified that a quotation has been received.
Once you have decided which quote to accept, the supplier will be informed.
As a Supplier, you will be informed either way, successful or unsuccessful.
If selected by the Buyer as the successful quote then the transaction continues, outside of the portal.
For Suppliers.....
Register on the site, enter your details and a summary of your approximate capacity. Once you have done this, you will be added to the pool of available suppliers.
When a buyer creates a request for a quotation, the system searches the database for suppliers who meet the critera required.
Once the database has completed it's work, the results are then filtered, using a randomizing algorythm to ensure that all suppliers have an equal opportunity to receive requests for quotes.
Once the database has selected you as a potential match, you will receive an email, which contains details of how to quote, as well as a PDF file containing the quote request.
Should you decide to quote for the work, simply create a pdf containing your quote (price, delivery date etc.) and then place it in the system (option on the menu when logged in)
The buyer is then immediately notified that a quotation has been received.
Once the buyer has decided which quote to accept, you will be informed. If the buyer has gone with a different supplier, then you will be notified for your information.
If the buyer decides to accept your quotation, you will receive another email from the system notifying you.
Once you and the buyer have both accepted the quote, the transaction continues , outside of the site.
